We are now recycling! ♻️
If you have any clothes, dresses, jeans, tablecloths or bedsheets that are not in good enough condition for the charity shop, you can bring them to us. We’ll happily give them a new life in the workshop.
👉 We can only accept clean materials (they don’t have to be freshly washed, just please no dirty or stained items). Thank you for helping us reduce waste! 🌍

We’re so happy to introduce our very first colleague who joined our little team – please give a warm welcome to Nelly! 🇪🇸💐 She came from Spain, and she’s not only super-talented but also super-kind. We’re delighted to have her on board, so don’t forget to say hi when you visit us!
We’re continuously investing in our workshop to keep you satisfied. Recently we upgraded our machinery, and we’ll continue to do so to improve quality and reduce turnaround times. We even converted another room in our house into a workshop for Nelly – and we have many more plans for the future. Hopefully, we’ll stay busy, and you’ll stay happy with our service! 💕
Because our team and our business are growing, we had to make some small adjustments to our pricing. The new price list is available here:

As noted there, all prices are indicative. The final cost always depends on the complexity of the work – sometimes the actual price can be even lower than listed. This is very important, because what we do is handcrafted, detailed physical and mental work, with machinery and other running costs involved.
One important reminder:
The price of a job does not depend on the price of the garment itself. For example, even if a shirt costs €15 in the shop, altering it may take an hour or more of skilled work with professional machines – and the result is a unique piece fitted perfectly to you. In fact, sometimes cheaper clothes can be more challenging to alter, since mass-produced fabrics are often lower in quality and harder to work with.
If the alteration cost seems high compared to the garment’s value, please just let us know – we’ll always try to suggest the best option for you. Our goal is to make sure you are happy both with the result and with the solution we provide. 🌸

✂️ About dress & clothing alterations:
We always aim for your absolute satisfaction, but please remember: Sewing is a handcraft – almost like art. It requires focus, measuring, patience, and skill, especially for wedding dresses, communion outfits, evening gowns, and other special-occasion garments.
Because we have many customers and countless projects, please bring your dresses and suits well in advance.
Currently, we can accept major alteration projects at least 3–4 weeks ahead. Sometimes we need extra time depending on the material, our tools, and stock availability.
💡 Tip: Schedule a consultation with Julianna early — otherwise we cannot guarantee the dress will be ready in time and to our high-quality standards.

🎒 School uniforms:
The new school year is approaching fast! 📚 Please book your uniform alterations as soon as possible to avoid last-minute rush.

🧵 About materials & fittings:
Mass-produced clothing often looks fancy but is made from cheap materials with limited seam allowances.
This means even a 3–4 mm adjustment can require careful planning. Stretchy or wavy fabrics are especially tricky — they can shrink or change shape after cutting, making alterations unpredictable.
Before buying clothes, keep in mind:
1️⃣ Cheap garments are often cheap for a reason – alterations may be limited.
2️⃣ If a cheap dress needs fitting, book early so we have enough time to do it properly.
